SC Green is proud to offer $24,000 in scholarships this year to collegiate horticulture programs across the state. Clemson University, Piedmont Technical College, Spartanburg Community College, and Trident Technical College each received funds to support their programs and students seeking a future in the landscape industry.

Pictured here is Trident Technical College’s greenhouse, a 3,000-square-foot instructional space that provides invaluable hands-on experience to horticulture students. SC Green scholarship funds helped with the cost of upgrading to a new control system for the greenhouse, allowing the ability to be remote, to incorporate the controls and environmental parameter into curriculum, and so students can log on to download data.
